Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) jar kraut, rinse and drain
    1 green pepper
    2 c. celery
    1 medium onion
    1 carrot, grated or 1 small jar pimento
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Mix sugar, vinegar and salad oil.
    Cook a few minutes.
    Cool and add remaining ingredients.
    Let stand 24 hours.
