Prairie Apple Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large baking apples, peeled and sliced
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    dash of salt
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Place apples in a greased 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch dish.
    Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
    Combine brown sugar, flour and butter.
    Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
    Serve warm or at room temperature.
    Can be served with cream or ice cream. Serves 10 to 12.
