Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating between each.
    Fold in flour after sifting 5 times, alternating with whipping cream.
    Bake in well-greased and floured tube pan. Start in cold oven; set temperature at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    This is particularly good served with fresh strawberries.
