Irish Fruit Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter or margarine
1 egg
1 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. orange juice
1 tsp. caraway seed
1 c. seedless raisins
1/2 c. currants
1/2 c. maraschino cherries
4 c. all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Combine margarine, egg, sugar and salt.
Mix well with spoon. Add orange juice.
Add seed, fruits, dry ingredients and buttermilk.
Stir well.
Mixture will be fairly thick.
Spread in square baking dish.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
