Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly.
Add sour cream, egg yolks and vanilla.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to cream mixture, blending well.
Chill 1 hour.
Shape into balls, working with small portions at a time.
Keep remaining dough chilled.
Cut dough with cutter and sprinkle cutouts with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
Makes 6 dozen.
