Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can sauerkraut
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    1 medium green pepper, diced
    2 Tbsp. pimientos, diced
    3/4 c. water
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Mix water, sugar and vinegar in saucepan.
    Heat until sugar dissolves.
    Add oil; mix and pour over sauerkraut mixture.
    Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
