Ingredients

1/2 c. uncooked rice, washed
3 c. boiling water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
15 oz. Eagle Brand condensed milk
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
Preparation

Mix rice, water and salt; cook until soft and add raisins. Take off stove.
Beat eggs well; add gradually, stirring into mixture.
Return to heat and cook until mixture coats metal spoon. Remove from stove.
Stir in vanilla and cinnamon or nutmeg. Serve hot or cold.
