Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. apple juice or cider
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice or 1/4 tsp. cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Mix all ingredients for syrup except butter.
Cook until it boils and thickens slightly.
Then set off burner and add butter. Serve over hot pancakes.
