Peach Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large cans peach halves
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. whole cloves
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    4 sticks cinnamon
Preparation
    Drain peaches, saving juice.
    To the juice, add sugar, vinegar, cinnamon and cloves.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Put peaches in jars and cover with juice mixture.
    Cool, then refrigerate. Ready to eat after standing overnight.
