Fudge Topped Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine, melted
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2/3 c. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts (optional)
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk
Preparation
    Mix margarine, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, eggs, milk and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
    Stir in nuts.
    Spread in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake 40 minutes or until set.
    Just before brownies are done, in a saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and remaining vanilla.
    Immediately spread over hot brownies.
    Cool.
    Chill.
    Makes 36 to 40 bars.
