Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 1/2 c. marshmallow cream
    1/2 c. pecan pieces
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine sugar, milk and butter in a large heavy sauce pan. Heat to boiling.
    Stir constantly about 5 minutes over medium heat until mixture reaches softball stage - 238\u00b0.
    Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients.
    Stir vigorously until well blended. Pour into greased 13x9x2-inch pan.
    Cool.
    Makes about 3 pounds fudge.
