Potato Porcupines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium potatoes, shredded
    1 egg
    1 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening or oil
Preparation
    Wash and
    peel\tpotatoes and shred onto absorbent paper to drain.
    Combine
    egg and flour and blend together.\tImmediately add shredded
    potatoes
    to\tegg
    mixture
    and stir until evenly mixed.
    Heat shortening or oil in a large skillet until hot (375\u00b0).
    Place
    spoonfuls
    of
    potatoes
    in
    skillet.
    Fry until golden brown on both sides.
