Hot Dog Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lb. hamburger
    2 c. oil
    2 large onions, chopped
    1/2 gal. tomato juice
    2 Tbsp. salt
    5 Tbsp. paprika
    5 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. red pepper
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cumin powder
    2 Tbsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Use hot water and work the hamburger until it is really fine (just enough to barely cover the raw meat), then cook with the onions until meat looks done.
    Add rest of the ingredients.
    You can cut way down on the oil for health's sake if you use the water. The original recipe called for 1 pound lard.
    Cook on low for at least an hour, stirring fairly often.
