Crunchy Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1 c. shredded coconut
2/3 c. raisins
Preparation

Cream
shortening and sugar together until fluffy.
Add egg and
vanilla.
Beat
well.\tAdd flour that has been sifted with baking
powder, soda and salt.
Gradually stir in rolled oats, coconut, raisins and nuts.\tShape dough into walnut-size balls on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
