Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 speck salt
2 beaten eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
2 c. raw oatmeal
1 c. raisins
5 Tbsp. raisin juice

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar until light.
Dissolve soda into raisin juice.
Add eggs to sugar and shortening.
Add juice, then flour and oatmeal.
Add 1 cup of nuts, if wanted.
