Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg

Preparation

Combine dry ingredients. Add onion and egg. Add enough warm water for smooth consistency. Drop into hot oil and cook until brown.
