Extra Special Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 boxes lemon Jell-O
    1 3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 pkg. Dream Whip, whipped or small carton Cool Whip
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Prepare Jell-O to package directions.
    Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans and drained pineapple.
    Pour in 13 x 9-inch container.
    Let congeal overnight or 5 to 6 hours.
    Combine Dream Whip and cream cheese and spread over Jell-O.
    Combine the undrained pineapple, sugar, eggs, lemon juice and cornstarch in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until thick, stirring.
    Cool and spread over second layer.
    Top with 1/4 cup chopped pecans.
