Depression Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean hamburger
    1 small onion, diced
    1 small head cabbage
    2 c. cubed Velveeta
    1/2 c. catsup
    buttered bread crumbs (1 slice worth)
Preparation
    Brown hamburger, then onion in skillet.
    Chop cabbage into 1-inch pieces.
    Cook in boiling water until almost tender.
    (Do not overcook.)
    Combine all ingredients in a large buttered casserole dish or baking pan, reserving crumbs to sprinkle over top.
    Bake uncovered 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
