Eleanor'S Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples
    12 tomatoes or more
    1 large onion
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. ginger
    2 red sweet peppers
    2 green sweet peppers
    1 bunch celery
    3 c. white vinegar
    1 3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop apples, tomatoes, onion, peppers and celery.
    Place in a heavy-duty kettle.
    Add the vinegar, brown sugar and spices and simmer 2 hours or more.
    It should be thick.
    Place in 6 pint canning jars and seal.
