Country Ribs And Kraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (1 lb. 11 oz. each) cans sauerkraut
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    4 to 5 lb. fresh spareribs
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix sauerkraut and brown sugar in large shallow baking pan. Cut ribs into serving size pieces; place on top of kraut and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Bake in slow (325\u00b0) oven for 3 hours, turning ribs occasionally to brown and crisp on both sides. Arrange on and around edge of heated serving platter; spoon kraut in middle.
