Macaroon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. saltine cracker crumbs
8 oz. chopped dates
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1 1/2 c. egg whites (11 eggs)
Preparation

Roll crackers to make crumbs. Chop dates and mix with crumbs. Beat egg whites and fold in remaining ingredients with wooden spoon.
Divide into 3 (9-inch) pie tins and bake 30 minutes in 375\u00b0 oven.
Serve topped with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
Makes 3 pies.
