Caramel Puffcorn Curls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) bag puffcorn curls
    1 stick Blue Bonnet margarine
    1/4 c. Karo syrup
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put puffcorn curls in a large roaster.
    Boil margarine, syrup and brown sugar 5 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla.
    Pour over puffcorn and bake, uncovered, at 250\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Stir every 10 minutes.
    Add nuts, if you wish.
    Pour on wax paper and break apart.
