Savory Cheese Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. King Arthur whole wheat flour
    1 c. King Arthur unbleached flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    ground black pepper
    1 scant tsp. dried summer savory
    1 c. grated extra sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. finely chopped chives or onion
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0 and grease 12-cup muffin tin.
    In mixing bowl, beat eggs, oil and milk together.
    Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
    Fold gently into egg mixture and stir in cheese and onion, mixing only until combined.
    Batter will be lumpy.
    Spoon into muffin tin.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
    Yields 12 muffins.
