Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. macaroni
    1/2 stick margarine
    1/4 c. finely minced onion
    milk
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
    pepper and salt to taste
Preparation
    Boil macaroni; drain.
    In heavy saucepan, make a basic white sauce by melting margarine.
    Add onion, then flour.
    Let cool for 5 minutes, then slowly add milk to desired thickness.
    Add pepper and salt to taste.
    Add Velveeta cheese; cook over low heat, stirring, until cheese is melted.
    Pour over macaroni.
    Stir in 1/2 shredded Cheddar cheese and pour into baking dish.
    Top with remaining cheese.
