Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 oz. pkg. coconut
    1 c. milk
    6 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 sticks butter, softened
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. coconut extract
Preparation
    Cream butter, Crisco, sugar and eggs; add extract.
    Add dry ingredients and milk, alternating as you mix.
    Mix well; stir in coconut.
    Bake in a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. (Do not overbake; cake should be moist.)
