Red Beans And Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag dry red kidney beans
    water to cover beans
    barbecue sauce
    Grandma's molasses
    liquid smoke
    ketchup
    1 pkg. sliced link sausage
    garlic powder
    onion powder
    1 small chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. bacon grease
Preparation
    Rinse beans; pour off water.
    Add about 4 inches of water.
    Add barbecue sauce, molasses, liquid smoke, ketchup, link sausage (I use Eckrich or Hillshire Farms, 1/2 to 1 inch slices), garlic powder, onion powder or chopped onion (I use both) and bacon grease.
    Cook for about 3 to 4 hours or until done.
    Serve with corn bread.
