Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter over low heat.
    Remove from heat; stir in sugar; cool.
    Stir in egg, flour, baking powder and salt.
    Blend in vanilla and walnuts.
    Spread in well-greased 8-inch square pan.
    Bake 25 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    Cut into bars while warm.
