Italian Salami And Cheese Croissants - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 1/2-inch thick cut French bread, cut diagonally
    olive oil
    1 garlic clove, flattened
    fresh ground pepper
    6 thin slices Italian dry salami
    6 slices Provolone cheese
    dried oregano
    6 Italian parsley leaves or basil leaves (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat broiler.
    Brush bread slices with olive oil; season with garlic and pepper.
    Broil 1 side of bread slice until toasted. Top with salami and cheese, folding cheese under to fit.
    Sprinkle with oregano, then broil until cheese melts.
    Top with parsley. Serve immediately.
    Serves 2 to 3.
