Dutch Oven Doves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 doves
    salt and pepper
    flour
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. finely chopped parsley
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. rosemary
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 (4 oz.) can button mushrooms (undrained)
    1 c. white wine
Preparation
    Salt and pepper birds to taste.
    Make a paste of flour and butter and rub each bird with paste.
    Place birds in baking dish and place a strip of bacon across each bird.
    Bake in slow oven (300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0) for about 1 hour.
