Overnight Sausage Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices white bread
    1 lb. link sausages
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    salt to taste
    3 eggs
    1 pt. milk
    mushrooms, onions, peppers, etc. to taste.
Preparation
    Brown and degrease sausages.
    Cut bread, cheese and sausage into bite-sized pieces.
    (I grate the cheese.)
    Layer in 2-quart casserole, bread, cheese and sausage.
    Best if you repeat once. Pour butter over.
    Beat eggs.
    Add salt, mustard and milk.
    Pour over casserole.
    Refrigerate overnight, covered.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0 after it is at room temperature.
    For double recipe, bake 1 hour and 45 minutes.
