Green Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c lime
2 gal water
7 lb. tomatoes or 5 lb cucumber
3 pints vinegar
5 c sugar
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp allspice
7 sticks cinnamon
1 tbsp salt
Preparation
-
Soak tomatoes or cucumbers for 24 hours.
Wash and soak in clear water.
Boil all other ingredients and pour over tomatoes and let set for 24 hours.
Boil tomatoes in syrup for 25 minutes, put in jars, and peel.
