Real Scottish Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add flour.
    Put in a 5 x 9-inch pan. Prick with fork.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cut in squares while still warm.
    Put in tin to remain fresh.
