Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 qt. fresh or frozen sliced strawberries
1/2 c. butter
1/2 pt. whipped cream
2 eggs

Preparation

Spread half of the vanilla wafers in a 9 x 9-inch cake pan. Cream the butter.
Add sugar and eggs; beat until smooth.
Spread on top of wafer crumbs.
Add strawberries; sprinkle nuts on top. Add remaining wafers.
Spread with whipped cream.
Chill until firm.
Serves 8.
