Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. scalded milk
    2 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
Preparation
    Mix first four ingredients together as listed.
    Beat well. Scald milk in large saucepan.
    Add egg mixture slowly to milk. Leave over heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Divide into two equal parts.
    Mix pudding as directed; add one mixed package to each half with enough milk to fill freezer to fill line.
    Makes two 5-quart freezers.
