Baked Quail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    quail
    1/2 c. sherry or white wine
    1 small onion, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper and thyme
    1/2 c. margarine
Preparation
    Pan-fry quail until brown.
    Combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
    Pour over fowl.
    Cover with foil; bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until tender.
    Serve with wild or white rice.
