Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 gal. apples, sliced thin, washed and drained
    4 lb. sugar
    1 c. Minute tapioca
    1 c. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. apple pie spice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except apples, and mix for 2 minutes. Put on apples and let stand 30 minutes.
    Pack in quart jars and seal.
    Cook in water bath for 50 minutes.
