Beef Noodle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/4 lb. pkg. stew beef
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    10 to 12 c. water
    1 large onion
    3 to 4 stalks celery, chopped
    1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
    2 carrots, chopped
    minced garlic
    parsley
    salt and pepper
    1/2 c. rice
    small egg noodles
Preparation
    Cut stew beef into bite-size pieces; brown well in butter. Cover with water.
    Add chopped ingredients, minced garlic, parsley and salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook until tender.
    Add rice and allow to cook.
    When tender, add a small amount of egg noodles.
