Dill Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. boiling water
1 1/3 c. vinegar
dill or 3 tsp. dill seed
1/3 c. salt
sugar (1 tsp. to each jar)
Preparation

Use green or wax beans.
Remove tips, stems and strings from beans.
Wash and drain.
Combine water, salt and vinegar.
Heat to boiling.
Pack beans in freshly sterilized jars.
Add several sprays of dill.
Fill jars with boiling brine.
Cook 5 minutes and seal.
Let stand a week before using.
