Mary'S Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    6 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Sift flour three times with soda and salt.
    Cream sugar and Crisco
    a short time by hand in mixer bowl.
    Does not take much creaming.
    Put
    mixer bowl on mixer and add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each.
    Add 1/2 of the flour; mix on low beater. Add sour cream and vanilla and mix.
    Add remainder of flour, mixing on low beater well.\tPut in greased pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
