International Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. frozen, petit peas (tiny size)
    1 c. water
    1 c. celery, cut Chinese style
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    water chestnuts, sliced
    almonds, slivered
Preparation
    Boil peas, water, celery and bouillon cubes together for 4 or 5 minutes.
    Make a paste of the cornstarch and 1/2 cup of water. Add to hot vegetable mixture.
    Cook until thickened.
    Just before serving, add sliced water chestnuts and slivered almonds to suit taste.
    Serves 6 to 8.
