Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. oil
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 Tbsp. red food coloring
Preparation

Cream sugar and oil; add eggs, well beaten.
Sift flour, salt and soda 3 times.
Mix cocoa, food coloring and vinegar together. Add eggs to sugar mixture and beat well.
Add dry mixture, milk and vanilla alternately.
Beat until blended.
Bake in 2 or 3 layers in greased and floured pans at 330\u00b0 or 350\u00b0 until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean (about 30 to 40 minutes). Frost with Red Velvet Frosting when cool.
