Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 oz. red food color
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Make paste with coloring and cocoa.
    Add to mixture.
    Add salt and flour with buttermilk and vanilla.
    Alternately add soda and vinegar.
    Blend.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
