Arthur Treacher Style Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. fish
    1 lemon
    2 c. pancake mix
    buttermilk
    3 c. oil
    2 1/2 c. club soda
Preparation
    Soak fish in just enough buttermilk to cover; refrigerate in covered container with 1 lemon sliced over it for 2 hours to remove fishy taste.
    Heat oil in heavy 2 1/2-quart saucepan. Drain off milk.
    Cut fillets in halves (make triangle shapes). Dredge in dry pancake mix.
