German Sweet Sour Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head red cabbage
    40 g fat
    1 onion
    1 apple
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 glass red cooking wine
    cubed beef
    1 c. broth
    3/4-inch cinnamon stick
Preparation
    Quarter head of cabbage; chop coarsely, cutting out stem.
    Put fat in frypan.
    Saute onion in fat.
    Put cabbage and cut apple in. Put sugar, vinegar, salt, red wine and sauteed onion in.
    Put cinnamon stick in ingredients.
    Cook in boiling pan.
    Steam rather than boil.
    Stir ingredients well and cook until done.
