Creamy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    instant mashed potato flakes (for 8 servings)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2/3 c. milk
    1/4 c. soft butter or margarine
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Grease a 1-quart casserole.
    Prepare mashed potatoes as directed, except omit butter and milk.
    In a small bowl, blend cream cheese, milk, butter, egg and onion on low speed. Stir in potato mixture. Stir in grated cheese.
    Pour into prepared casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
