Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising meal
    2/3 c. oil
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    3/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, chopped or grated
    1 (8 oz.) can creamed corn
Preparation
    Mix
    all ingredients.
    Pour in hot iron skillet (save a little of
    the
    oil
    to
    put in skillet).
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown and firm.
