Green Tomato Catsup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 qt. green tomatoes
    1 c. salt
    1 medium head cabbage
    6 green peppers
    5 red peppers
    6 medium onions
    3 qt. vinegar
    8 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. whole cloves
Preparation
    Mix 8 quart ground tomatoes with 1 cup salt.
    Let drain in bag overnight.
    In
    the
    morning, grind cabbage, green and red peppers and onions.
    Mix all ingredients together in large kettle. Cook until onions are tender, about 20 minutes.
    Seal in hot sterilized jars.
    Makes 10 to 12 pints.
