Royal Seafood Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    unpeeled, fresh medium shrimp
    8 oz. pkg. vermicelli spaghetti
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1 c. or more whipping cream
    5 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
    4 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    1 (4 oz.) jar diced pimiento, drained
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan
    4 Tbsp. slivered almonds
    fresh parsley (garnish)
Preparation
    Bring water to a boil. Add shrimp and cook 3 to 5 minutes. Drain well. Rinse with cold water.
    Peel and devein shrimp.
    Set aside.
