Milky Way Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 Milky Way candy bars
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
1 c. pecans

Preparation

Melt candy bars and 1/2 cup butter in saucepan; cool slightly. Cream sugar and softened butter in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add mixture of flour and soda alternately with buttermilk, mixing well after each addition.
Add candy mixture and pecans; mix well.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until cake tests done.
