Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 deep-dish shell
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter, melted
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. buttermilk
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Prebake unpricked shell in 425\u00b0 oven 4 to 5 minutes. Blend together eggs, sugar, melted and cooled butter, flour and vanilla. Gradually stir in buttermilk. Pour into shell and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 35 to 40 minutes, until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on rack. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
